Personal Care Assistant (PCA) NuLife Senior Care LLC Lithia Springs, GA 30122 Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the care and attention necessary for their well-being. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work closely with clients, offering both physical and emotional support while promoting independence and dignity. Duties Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor adherence to medication schedules. Take and record vital signs to ensure clients’ health is maintained. Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive environment for clients. Maintain a clean and safe living space for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Drive clients to appointments, social activities, or errands as needed. Offer direct support to individuals with disabilities or special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety. Implement care plans tailored to clients’ specific needs, including those with dementia or other cognitive impairments. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Experience Candidates should possess experience in caregiving roles, particularly in settings such as group homes or direct support environments. Familiarity with medication administration, first aid practices, and vital sign monitoring is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia care will be considered an asset.
