Shifts available: This is a Part-Time Position Week beginsSunday and ends SaturdaySaturday & Sunday (2 days a week) 4pm-12amWeekends Companion Sitter Destiny’s Child Inc., Home Health Aides, Companion-Sitters andCoordinators are known as a Direct Support Professional, (DSP).Destiny’s Child Inc., is looking for qualified applicants to fillthe position of a Direct Support Professional. DCI is a serviceprovider for adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.

This position will be responsible for performing routine activitiesrelated to the health, safety, and welfare of individuals receivingservices. This position is assigned to provide community livingsupport services directly in an Individuals’ homes.

The currentschedule is as follows:
SATURDAY SUNDAY

4pm-12am 8am-4pm

QUALIFICATIONS

Destiny’s Child Inc., Home Health Aides,Companion-Sitters and Coordinators are known as a Direct SupportProfessional, (DSP). Destiny’s Child Inc., is looking for qualifiedapplicants to fill the position of a Direct Support Professional.

DCI is a service provider for adults withIntellectual/Developmental Disabilities. This position will beresponsible for performing routine activities related to thehealth, safety, and welfare of individuals receiving services. Thisposition is assigned to provide community living support servicesdirectly in an Individuals’ homes.

HOME CARE QUALIFICATIONS

Able to read and write.

Able to followverbal and written instructions.

Able to complete written reportsand documents.

Able to use a computer/able to type/fastlearner.

Successfully complete training or demonstrate understandingand practical competency in the following areas:

Understanding theneeds and characteristics of elderly, handicapped, mentallyretarded, mentally disabled, or convalescing individuals.

Mealpreparation and serving.

Transportation and escortsservices.

Housekeeping to include sanitation, home safety, handlingmedical emergencies in the home; and infection control. DailyCareBathingRoutine skin careGroomingAssistance withtoiletingAmbulation and transferring of clientEncouraging physicalactivityApplying first aide in case of sudden illness or anaccidentReminding client to take prescribed medications(Supervision/over sight of medication)Providing watchfulsupervision and oversightPreparing meals and washing dishesAssistclient with grocery shoppingAssist client with activities withinthe communityAssist client with ISP goalsMedically relatedactivities to include the taking of vital signsParticipate in theestablishment and implementation of the clients service planReportproblems and progress of client to physician and others as approvedby client To apply you must meet the guidelines listed below: (2) years verifiable experience as a care provider Proof of Legal authorization to work in the United States High School Diploma or Equivalent Clean Background Current CPR Current First Aide Card Current Physical (Can be obtained at local HealthDepartment) Current TB or Chest X-Ray Valid GA Driver License 7 year

CNA or able to pass PSA test Additional RequirementsThe Coordinator is in constant contactwith the client, the public and the community and brings importantissues before the Senior Coordinator and Administrative staff.
