We empower people to practice independent living skills while encouraging and teaching new ones. We are searching for people to join our team of Direct Support Professionals to make a difference in the lives of the people we support. Residential DSP’s We support people to live in shared residences or group homes. We currently have 5 group homes (3 gentlemen houses and 2 ladies houses) in Hall County. Shifts begin each day at 7am – and last until 7:30pm or 7pm – 7:30am. (24/7/365). Number of shifts to work each week two to three during 6 month probationary period (able to pick up 4th shift after 6 months). Meals provided during shifts. Job Duties will include but are not limited to: Assisting people who experience disabilities with cooking, cleaning, and hygiene (when necessary) and encouraging and empowering independence in their day to day. The position also includes transportation into the community, to medical appointments and supporting people to find their interests in the community. Candidates must work well independently and as part of a larger team, helping others to become more involved/connected in their community.
