Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our care team. As a PCA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, promote their physical and emotional well-being, and help ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living space.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene and mobility assistance such as transferring and walking. Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful conversation and activities Support meal preparation, feeding, and monitoring nutritional intake Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and pleasant environment Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition Follow individual care plans and communicate effectively with the care team Uphold resident dignity, privacy, and independence at all times
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) PCA/HHA certification Prior caregiving or PCA experience. Compassionate, patient, and dependable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and supporting residents Must pass background check and health screenings CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to obtain)
