Accommodate Medical Staffing and Home Care is seeking compassionate and dedicated Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) to provide high-quality, personalized care to our clients. PCAs play a crucial role in supporting patients with daily living activities, ensuring comfort, and promoting overall well-being. Key Responsibilities:
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide mobility support, including transferring and repositioning patients safely. Monitor and report changes in patient health, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring dietary requirements are met. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and maintaining a clean living space. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients. Assist with medication reminders as per care plan guidelines. Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients. Transport or assist patients with mobility for medical appointments and errands, as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Certification as a Patient Care Assistant, Home Health Aide (HHA), or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a plus. Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or healthcare setting is preferred. Ability to lift and move patients safely. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).
