PCA Personal Care Assistant Angel Care Home Care LLC Warner Robins, GA 31098 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to patients in the home settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is vital in promoting a positive and nurturing environment. Duties Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Support mobility by helping patients move safely within the facility or to appointments. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the patient’s quality of life. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare teams in various settings, including inpatient, outpatient, medical-surgical units, PICU, and emergency medicine. Skills Strong understanding of patient care principles within a clinical environment. Familiarity with medical terminology related to the home health setting. Ability to work effectively in outpatient settings. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Empathy and patience when dealing with patients who may have varying levels of needs. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
