Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities as needed. Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and guidelines. Observe and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards. Respect client confidentiality and uphold their rights at all times. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or personal care assistance is preferred. Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus. Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities, including dementia care, is highly desirable. Understanding of resident rights and the importance of patient observation in care settings. Ability to administer medication safely and accurately as directed by healthcare professionals. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
