The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine or related healthcare settings, including experience in Level I and Level II Trauma Centers, inpatient care, medical-surgical environments, outpatient clinics, and geriatrics. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients while promoting their independence. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients. Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with medical appointments. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties. Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs. Document care provided and maintain accurate records of client progress. Qualifications Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of emergency medicine practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with Level I Trauma Center, Level II Trauma Center, inpatient, outpatient, medical-surgical, and geriatrics care settings is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in providing care.
