Skills Strong understanding of caregiving principles, including direct support and long-term care practices. Experience in home community care or group home settings is preferred. Proficiency in first aid and emergency response techniques. Ability to assist clients with diverse needs, demonstrating empathy and patience. Knowledge of behavior management systems to effectively support clients’ emotional needs. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
