In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. Your contributions will be vital in delivering compassionate care tailored to individual needs. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Help with meal preparation and nutritional needs according to dietary requirements. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients’ health status. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in their homes. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals regarding care plans. Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions. Requirements Previous experience as a personal care assistant or in a similar role preferred. Strong understanding of geriatric care principles and practices. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to work independently while following care plans accurately. Basic knowledge of health monitoring techniques is a plus.
