Full Time Location:
WestSpringfield, MA Rate of Pay:
$22.00 per hour
Hours:
35 hours per week
Schedule:
Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
Summary:
Work directly with andalongside adults with disabilities and developmental delays on socialand communication skills, activities of daily living, and buildingesteem. Organize, coordinate, implement, and structure activity units toprovide such opportunities for program members. Assist with personalcare and participation in community activities. Provide support andtraining to members in accordance with ISP goals and objectives.
Individuals with direct care, residential care, human services, dayprogram, and DDS experience strongly encouraged to apply!
Qualifications:
High School/Hi-SET required with at least one year ofhuman service experience, or associate’s degree in related field and0-1 year of experience preferred.
Requirements:
Basic computer skillswith a minimum knowledge of Word and Excel. Must have a valid MAdriver’s license, 3 years driving experience, good driving record, useof a vehicle and willingness to transport participants in personaland/or agency vehicle. Must be able to lift and transfer members up to150 pounds. Must be able to travel within the region to accessresidential settings, employers, offices and community organizations.?Viability values our employees and the talents that they bring withthem every day.
