What You’ll Do:
+ Support adult consumers who have an intellectual disability or Autism Spectrum Disorder, to address unmet needs, utilize strengths, and fulfill life goals. + Follow an individual support plan to develop life skills to improve daily functioning, gain effective social skills to build relationships, and to promote health and independence at home and in the community. + Provide direct care paraprofessional staff (DSP) with direct supervision. + Employee performance reviews, drafting and delivering disciplinary action, completing required HR paperwork, etc.
What You’ll Bring:
+ High school diploma or equivalent. + Valid driver’s license, with reliable transportation and auto insurance. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Compassionate & caring demeanor, and leadership capabilities. + Passion for helping people with disabilities live healthier, happier lives. + 2 years of experience working with adults with disabilities is preferred.
