The Direct | || Support Professional plays a | || vital role in providing | || assistance with daily activities, | || providing emotional support, | || supervising community outings, | || and supporting treatment plans in | || partnership with clinical staff | || to enhance the quality of life | || for those we support. | || | || Day programs for adults with | || intellectual and/or developmental | || disabilities include activities | || and environments designed to | || foster meaningful day activities | || for the person to include the | || acquisition and maintenance of | || skills, building positive group, | || individual and interpersonal | || skills, greater independence and | || personal choice. Requirements:

• +|•High School Diploma or | || equivalent required | ||•Must be able to obtain MS CDL | || Class C Driver’s License | || within 60 days of hire | ||•Valid Mississippi Driver’s | || License with satisfactory | || driving record (no moving | || violations within 3 years) | ||•Will pass CPR, MANDT, and | || other required testing | ||•Experience working with the | || IDD population preferred | ||•Experience assisting others | || with ADLs preferred | |•+| | ||
