Position Summary Direct care and support to the individuals that we serve, including programmatic instruction, daily living, and other responsibilities as assigned. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist and supervise clients in areas of self-help, living skills, and day programming. Responsible for providing direct care to clients, including, but not limited to, toileting, feeding, changing clothes, etc. Assist assigned clients with basic range of motion exercises and other duties as assigned. Maintain daily progress notes on assigned clients. Plan, develop and facilitate activities in conjunction with other staff. Responsible for shared maintenance of home or day program. Serve as positive role model for clients and staff. Administer medications under the direction of a licensed RN. Education/Training/Background/Drug Screening Provide education verification (High School Diploma or GED completion). Maintain required certifications including CPR, First Aid, NCI, etc. Maintain up-to-date trainings including Oxygen use, clients’ rights, PT, OT (Body Mechanics-seizures), etc. Pass a criminal background check and on-site drug screening test.
