As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with resident observation and reporting any changes in condition
• Support individuals in a group home setting
• Help individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their personal goals
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individuals under your care Requirements Must be a minimum of 18 years old Have a High School Diploma or Equivalent Possess a valid driver’s license Experience or working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred Knowledge of ICF/IID standards and regulations is helpful but not required Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals such as nurses Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and person-centered approach to care Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism
