This role is vital in various settings, including outpatient facilities, teaching hospitals, and emergency medicine environments, where you will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing. Support individuals with mobility and physical activities. Help clients manage medication schedules and reminders. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance mental well-being. Document and report any changes in clients’ conditions to healthcare staff. Collaborate with medical teams in settings such as outpatient care, medical-surgical units, and geriatrics. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Participate in training sessions to improve caregiving skills and knowledge related to hospital medicine and trauma care. Experience Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role is preferred. Familiarity with healthcare settings such as Level I and Level II Trauma Centers is advantageous. Knowledge of outpatient care practices and emergency medicine protocols is a plus. Experience working in inpatient environments or operating rooms (OR) can enhance your application. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential.
