About the Position Performs human support work providing in-home services to senior citizens and the disabled, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the moderate supervision of the assigned supervisor. Job Duties Provides clients with all needed home management tasks.
Ensures clients’ safety and well-being. Transports clients to appointments and essential errands.
Communicates changes to supervisor, social workers, and nurses.
Completes timesheets, day sheets, and vehicle logs.
Performs other assigned duties. Position Qualifications Ability to read and carry out detailed instructions. Ability to work with older adults. Ability to work with people from all socio-economic levels. Ability to work in the home of a client and perform homemaker duties. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and associates. Education, Experience and Supplemental Information High school diploma or equivalent.
Moderate experience providing services to clients and working with the elderly and/or disabled or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
