PCA Personal Care Assistant Unique Home Care Services, Inc Mocksville, NC 27028 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare settings, particularly within trauma centers, geriatrics, or outpatient environments. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Duties Assist clients with personal hygiene tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring clients are safely moved within their environment. Monitor and document client health status and report any changes to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary. Reminder for medication Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Qualifications Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and their families. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments. Must be able to pass background checks and any required health screenings.
