MANAGEMENT CARE SERVICE STAFFING

Durham, NC 27704 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. This role is essential in providing support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, including autism and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in long-term care, memory care, and senior care, ensuring that clients receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs. Duties As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include: Assisting individuals with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Implementing and following care plans designed to meet the specific needs of each client. Providing patient monitoring to ensure safety and well-being. Supporting clients in social activities and community engagement to enhance their quality of life. Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to provide comprehensive support. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for clients, including cooking nutritious meals when necessary. Documenting progress and any changes in client behavior or condition accurately. Requirements To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications: Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Knowledge of long-term care practices and memory care techniques. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt to changing client needs. Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Job Type:
Part-time Pay:

$15.50 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week
