Full Job Description Position Summary:
Covenant Case Management Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Day Program DSP to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with disabilities and a strong understanding of behavioral support. This position offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our members.
Responsibilities:
Implement individualized support plans, including behavioral interventions and ABA techniques. Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration. Tube feedings, bathing toileting, dressing, wheelchair transfers, mobility assistance, med admin, seizure training necessary, turning/positioning to maintain skin integrity. Home is supported with ceiling lift (for transferring) and ramp, and bath chair. Facilitate recreational and leisure activities. Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with total care clients Strong understanding of behavioral support and ABA principles. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Schedule:
Day Shift, Contract 12 hours/week, Respite as needed Tues
- 3:30-8pm, Thurs
- 3:30-8pm, Sat
- 8am-Noon, Sun
- 8am-12:30pm
