The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for those receiving care, particularly for individuals with autism or those requiring long-term care. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. Provide medication administration as prescribed and ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations. Support clients in meal preparation and nutritional needs. Observe and report any changes in clients’ conditions or behaviors. Facilitate activities of daily living in a home or community care setting. Assist with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure client safety. Engage clients in social activities to promote emotional well-being. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in group home or home health settings. Skills Strong patient observation skills to monitor client health and behavior. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. Ability to provide compassionate home community care tailored to individual needs. Experience working in group home or home health environments is a plus. Competence in meal preparation that meets dietary requirements. Physical capability to lift clients safely when necessary.
