Charlotte, NC 28205 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly seniors and individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and demonstrate the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. Duties Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ well-being. Aid in mobility, including lifting and transferring clients as needed. Help with meal preparation and feeding when required. Administer medications according to prescribed schedules. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Document daily activities and report any changes in clients’ conditions to healthcare professionals. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements Previous experience in home care, nursing home, or caregiving settings is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges. Knowledge of patient care techniques, including medication administration. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate client needs, including evenings or weekends if necessary. Certification in CPR/First Aid is a plus but not required.
