$15 per hour A Caring Heart Case Management is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

Position Details:

Schedule:

3 hours each weekday after school (15 hours/week).

Additional Hours:

Up to 28 hours/week during school breaks.

Pay:

$15 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Support the client with daily activities and tasks in the after-school hours. Promote independence and life skills through positive interactions and engagement. Assist with community outings, personal care, or recreational activities as needed. Maintain a safe and supportive environment tailored to the client’s needs.

Qualifications:

Previous experience working with individuals with IDD is preferred but not required. A caring and patient demeanor. Must be at least 18 years old. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Ability to pass a background check. Why Join Us? About This Position (Habilitation Technician): All trainings will be provided by A Caring Heart. Habilitative services provide instruction to individuals to help them learn, retain, or improve skills for maximal functioning. Skill building focuses on self-care, household maintenance, social and communication skills, money management, social and community inclusion, mobility employment, and self-regulation. Services will be provided in the home, community and day program.
