Home Health Aide (HHA) Confident Care Solutions Gaston, NC Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or care facilities. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and personal care. Your work will contribute significantly to their comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Take and record vital signs, ensuring any abnormalities are reported to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional. Assist with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare providers. Support clients with memory care needs, providing reminders and assistance with cognitive tasks. Help maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate personnel. Requirements Previous experience in hospice care, assisted living, long-term care, or similar caregiving roles is preferred. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and ability to follow care plans effectively. Familiarity with vital signs monitoring and basic health assessments. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families. Compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
