The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing quality care to our patients, ensuring their medication needs are met while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, acute care practices, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and senior patients. Responsibilities Administer medications to patients as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff. Provide catheter care and assist with personal hygiene needs of residents. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of medication administration. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Assist in home care settings, providing support to patients in their daily activities. Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory guidelines regarding patient care. Skills Proficient in acute care practices and understanding of medical terminology. Experience in administering medications and familiarity with medication systems. Strong knowledge of vital signs monitoring techniques. Ability to provide catheter care with respect for patient dignity. Experience in senior care and working with individuals with disabilities. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
