PCA Personal Care Assistant Unique Home Care Services, Inc Cleveland, NC 27013 Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support.

Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for patients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about caregiving. Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients to enhance their overall well-being. Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff. Help patients with mobility needs, ensuring safe transfers and ambulation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols. Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies. Requirements Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or in a similar caregiving role is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients while providing care. Must be able to pass background checks and any required health screenings prior to employment. Certification in CPR or First Aid is a plus but not mandatory at the time of application.
