Part-Time, One-on-One Support A Caring Heart Case Management, Inc. is currently hiring a Direct Support Professional to provide individualized care and support to a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role involves working in the home and community and supporting daily routines and skill-building.

Schedule:

School Days:

3:30 PM – 7:30

PM Non-School Days:

10:30 AM – 1:30

PM Responsibilities Include:

Supporting daily living activities and personal care needs Practicing and reinforcing skill-building techniques Assisting with social skills, household tasks, and community integration Using de-escalation strategies when needed Maintaining a safe and supportive environment

Requirements:

Experience working with IDD children Ability to confidently handle challenging behaviors Familiarity with de-escalation strategies Dependable with a strong work ethic Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance Must pass a background check

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
