!! $18.85/Hour – Part-time, flexible, up to 18 hours a week Monadnock Developmental Services is seeking a qualified applicant for a Part Time DSP position in the Jaffrey, NH area. Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM are ideal hours. Position and schedule are flexible to accept less hours per week.

Direct Support Professionals responsibilities:

Provide transportation for all community, day support, and services (mileage reimbursement provided) Support and supervise all community outings and events Assist with daily exercise Assist in the development of all Activities of Daily Living skills and encourage client to increase independence Implement all the client’s goals; assist with finding new ways to achieve his exercise Notify the service coordinator of any significant changes regarding the client’s health Comply with all state certification regulations Support the client to build and maintain relationships Aid in the removal of barriers preventing a person with a disability to reach their goals Position requirements: Ability to provide prompts, supports, physical and verbal cueing as needed Possess good professional boundaries; can redirect when necessary Willingness to transport the client to necessary locations for their goals such as: volunteer job, personal training, community activities Understanding and adherence to state certification regulations Ability to work collaboratively with the client, their family, and their service coordinator •Training will be provided in all applicable areas for each program• Individual enjoys: working his volunteer jobs, exploring new places, bowling, going out to lunch
