The ideal candidate will provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their well-being and quality of life. ## Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities such as grooming, bathing, and dressing
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Help individuals with developmental disabilities participate in community activities
- Administer medication under the direction of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Ensure the safety and security of individuals at all times
- Advocate for resident rights and independence
- Document individual progress and any incidents that occur ## Requirements
- Experience in senior care, patient care, or caregiving is preferred
- Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities and dementia care is a plus
- Ability to lift and transfer individuals safely
- Direct support experience is beneficial but not required
