Needed:
Special Needs Caregiver We are currently looking for someone to work with our 24 yo daughter who has a rare syndrome and is non verbal. Services would take place in our home in Barrington, NH. This is a part time position with day hours. She is physically active and needs assist with transfers. She participates in community activities with other friends her age. Although she is nonverbal, she uses a communication system and she is good at getting her point across. She has a great sense of humor and loves to have fun. This person will assist our daughter with daily living skills, assist to participate in activities outside the home, and other daily activities. You need to have a good sense of humor, be flexible, have the ability plan ahead, and be able to help with physical transfers and lifting of light equipment in and out of vehicle. The schedule can be somewhat flexible. Looking for 3 4hr shifts during the week and occasional weekend as needed.
