Overview Abound Health, a provider of home and community services for adults with intellectual disabilities is seeking dedicated Caregivers to provide services in Ridgewood, NJ, and surrounding areas. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals in need, promoting their well-being and independence. Responsibilities:
+ Building trusting relationships with clients to facilitate effective care and support + Providing assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care tasks + Administering medications following proper protocols + Assisting with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship + Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care plans + Maintaining accurate documentation of client interactions and progress + Going out and about in the community to increase and improve socialization skills and increase community inclusion.
Skills:
+ Strong caregiving skills with a focus on empathy and patience + Ability to administer medications accurately + Competence in assisting with ADLs for individuals with varying needs

1-2 years (Preferred), not required
Requirements:
+ Valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle with proof of insurance + Ability to drive for individual transportation to and from home or on community outings

Work Location:
In person •$1000 Signing Bonus Details + $333 paid out after working 90 days with an average of 20 hours per week + $333 paid out after working 6 months (180 days) with an average of 20 hours per week + $334 paid out after working 1 year (365 days) with an average of 20 hours per week + Applicant cannot have been employed by Abound Health (or any of our newly acquired companies) in the past 18 months + Signing bonus not applicable for Residential Services + Employees hired as Relative as Providers (RAPs) are not eligible for the Signing Bonus
