Direct Support Professional (DSP) 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars Orange, NJ 07051 Creative Healthcare Services Corporation is a community-based agency that provides in-home habilitative services for individuals in the autism spectrum. We are currently looking for experienced and dedicated professionals qualified to provide Support Services for eligible children, youth, and young adults, under the age of 21, who are presenting with challenging and difficult behaviors. The task performed could range from assisting the youth to learn or increase basic skills like toileting, feeding, and dressing to instrumental skills like using the phone and computer, budgeting, outdoor safety, etc. These services are intended to transfer skills necessary to achieve and/or maintain the outcomes of increased independence, productivity, enhanced family functioning, and inclusion in the community. Support Services are designed to foster and improve the ability of the family/ caregiver to provide the youth with the needed support so that the youth will remain in the home and in the community with their natural supports, needing no, or minimal outside interventions whenever possible. Respite Workers relieve caregivers from the burden of day to day caregiving so that the caregiver could spend time with spouses, partners, children, friends, and other family members. Caregiver could also use the respite time to catch up on household duties, or even on their own sleep. Qualifications and Skills Must have a High School diploma or equivilant At least 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with special needs Must be available to work evenings and weekend hours

- Must be available for professional development trainings as needed
