Assisting Hands Livingston, NJ Job Details $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description Assisting Hands is seeking a Direct Support Professional to aid a male individual who has Quadriplegia and spastic Cerebral Palsy. The candidate must be experienced, caring, and motivated. Assistance with some ADLs Drive client to enjoy community outings near his hometown Drive client to run errands Client loves cars, Broadway, and singing Attention to detail, especially when adhering to specific protocols and rules when caring for the client Ensure client feels safe and comfortable when assisting with ADLs Assist client in making progress on their outcome and goals for the specified service as defined in their Plan of Care Document services provided (CBS Log) Familiarity with EVV a plus Advocate for client at all times for patient rights and ensure their dignity and privacy are respected Ensure the safety and well-being of the client at all times Report any changes in client condition or situations to supervisor and family/guardian This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
