In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities or special needs, assisting them in their daily activities and promoting their independence within the community. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you serve. Staff will need reliable vehicle to provide transportation from Day Program to clients home. He will need supervision until father arrives home from work. He is mostly independent, but lacks awareness in the kitchen, so staff will need to prepare snacks. Duties As a Direct Support Professional, your responsibilities will include: Providing support in home community care settings, including meal preparation. Implementing individualized care plans tailored to each client’s needs and preferences. Ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy. Documenting client progress and any changes in behavior or health status accurately.
