This position is focused on enhancing the quality of life for individual by promoting independence, dignity, and personal growth. DSPs and Senior’s work in various settings, including group homes, residential facilities, and community-based programs, ensuring that individual receive the care and support they need to thrive. Duties Assist Individual with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance individual well-being. Implement individualized care plans tailored to individual specific needs and goals. Monitor and document individual progress, behaviors, and any changes in health status. Facilitate social interactions and community involvement to promote engagement and inclusion. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HIPAA guidelines. Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities as needed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support staff to coordinate care. Skills Candidates for the Direct Support Professional position should possess the following skills: Proficiency in First Aid and CPR techniques, if not will be trained by us. Experience in home care or group home settings is preferred, but not necessary. Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and their families. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while demonstrating empathy and patience.
