Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping others and has the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of care. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Monitor and document patient observations, reporting any changes in condition to healthcare professionals. Help clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times. Prepare meals and assist with feeding as necessary, adhering to dietary restrictions. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients. Support clients with memory care activities, engaging them in cognitive exercises and social interactions. Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of clients. Assist individuals with disabilities in daily tasks, promoting independence while providing necessary support. Skills Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and privacy. Strong skills in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients’ needs. Experience in memory care techniques to effectively support individuals with cognitive impairments. Ability to maintain a clean environment while assisting with household tasks. Proficient in assisting clients with daily living activities while promoting their dignity and independence. Excellent observation skills for monitoring client health and well-being effectively. Certification in CPR is preferred for emergency preparedness. Experience working with people with disabilities is an asset for providing tailored support. Background in senior care or caregiving enhances the ability to connect with elderly clients compassionately.
