The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, making a positive impact in their daily routines. Duties Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences. Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities. Support clients with memory care techniques to enhance cognitive function. Assist with catheter care and other personal hygiene needs. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients. Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to healthcare professionals. Skills Strong patient care skills with a focus on senior care. Experience or training in medication administration is preferred. Ability to cook nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements. CPR certification is highly desirable. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus. Knowledge of memory care strategies to assist clients effectively. Proficient in catheter care practices. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients and families. Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to enhancing client well-being.
