We are currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are passionate, dependable, and ready to make a difference. Position Summary As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by helping them achieve personal goals, build skills, and engage fully in everyday life. You’ll provide assistance with daily living activities, behavioral support, community integration, and personal care while ensuring a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. Key Responsibilities Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene Provide support with medication administration and monitor health as directed Implement behavioral support plans as trained and directed Encourage and assist with participation in community activities, social events, and outings Promote skill development in communication, household tasks, and socialization Document services provided and individuals’ progress accurately and timely Maintain a safe and clean environment Provide emotional support , encouragement, and advocacy Work collaboratively with the care team, family members, and clinical staff Respond appropriately to crisis situations following agency policy and training Qualifications & Requirements Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED required Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others Ability to lift and assist individuals as needed Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required Training & Certification CPR, First Aid & AED Certified (Red Cross) – Training Provided On-Site Ongoing training and professional development Behavioral Support Training provided by our in-house Certified Safety-Care Instructors What We Offer Supportive, team-oriented work environment Flexible scheduling options Opportunities for advancement The chance to make a real, lasting difference in someone’s life every day Apply today and join a team that truly cares .
