DSP (Direct Support Professional) with ABA experience The Arthur Daniel Agency Toms River, NJ 08757 The Arthur Daniel Agency is a leading provider of Community-Based Supports and Individual-Based Supports through the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) in New Jersey. We are committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to live independently and integrate fully into their communities. We are looking for a DSP to assist a 21-year-old male individual in the mornings to get ready for Day Program. The support is needed Monday -Friday 6:30a to 8:30a. He needs assistance showering – verbal prompts and direction, with some hand-over-hand assistance. His mother will be home as well to help, and prepare breakfast. Staff is to sit with the individual and encourage him to eat and monitor for safety. The individual is looking for a DSP who is very patient, encouraging, and experienced with behaviors. He can be defiant at times and have outbursts if he does not want to get ready or take instruction.
