As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence within their homes. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs, including memory care and disabilities. Responsibilities Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing to ensure dignity and comfort. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client’s quality of life. Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed. Monitor and document client health status, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary, ensuring nutritional needs are met. Support clients in engaging in daily activities and social interactions within their home or community. Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy at all times. Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans. Experience Previous experience in patient care or home community care is preferred but not required. Familiarity with memory care practices is a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued. Knowledge of medical documentation processes is beneficial for maintaining accurate records.
