Make a positive change in your career by joining our team today! Patient Care Assistant needed to perform clerical and cleaning duties associated with high volume Ambulatory Surgery Center.
Responsibilities include:
- Separate charts from operating room or recovery room and distribute all forms appropriately
- Copy intra-op records and clinic charts at the end of the day
- Enter surgeries and lasers in log book
- Answer phones and file as needed
- Stock supplies in operating room
- Assist with transporting patients
- Responsible for cleaning patient area
- Assist patients with nourishment in recovery area
- Escort patients to waiting area following surgical procedure while maintaining safety measures
- Replenish blanket warmer and refrigerator
Qualifications:
- High School graduate
- Prior clerical or surgical setting experience preferred
