The Arc Greater Hudson Valley is currently recruiting for a Medical Support Provider/ Direct Support Professional to join their Residential Team. As a Medical Support Provider/ Direct Support Professional in our Residential program you will be providing individualized, person-centered, skills training and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities in home and community settings, Scheduling and transporting individuals to their medical appointments, Communicating results from medical appointments to managers/nurses, Ensuring medication from pharmacy is obtained This position is great for those who want to come to work and make a difference in people’s lives every day.
Schedule :
Monday through Friday, generally 8:30a-3:30p, with the flexibility to come in earlier/ stay later with notice given.
Hourly Pay:
$16.80 per hour Position is currently in the Poughkeepsie area. Valid/ Clean NYS Drivers License Required (Must have for a minimum of 1 year). This is an Entry Level Position. We offer one week of paid training. DID YOU KNOW… That being a direct support professional you can be paid to do things such as: bring to medical appointments, daily living skills, scheduling appts, RX refills. You also are eligible for paid time off – 33 days!!! (Vacation, Floating Holidays and Unplanned Time).
