$19.00-$23.63 per hour, $600.00 Sign-on Bonus! Must be at least 18 years old OR high school diploma or equivalent, valid NYS drivers’ license, ability to work flexible hours, fundamental computer skills, ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Will be responsible for assisting people receiving services to live full and meaningful life, by providing a wide variety of supports. The DSP encourages, and teaches skills to promote autonomy, community inclusion and provide a safe and healthy environment. Review, understand and follow each person’s plan of protective oversight, Individual Service Plan, safeguards, comprehensive functional assessment (CFA), or other service-related documentation or plan and Behavior Support plans, ensure safety by following Safeguards or plan of actions, prepare food for prescribed diets and assist/monitor people while eating, attend to routine health-care needs of people under supervision of medical personnel, assist/ perform household activities: cooking, cleaning, housekeeping, laundry, shopping, etc., as well as performs other duties assigned.
