Our Watertown, NY branch is currently looking for Home Health Aides to work in Watertown NY and other towns throughout Jefferson & Lewis County. Not a certified HHA? No problem – we’re now enrolling qualified applicants in our Free Home Health Aide training class, details below!
HHA Training Class –
FreeClass Time:
8am to 4pm
Class Dates:
July 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 28, 29, 30; Aug 4, 5, 6The class is a total of 96 hours.
Attendance is required on all scheduled days. Space is limited so get your information in now!
Location:
CareGivers Home Care, 1291 Faichney Drive, Suite #2, Watertown, NY 13601+ Reliable transportation is required+ Tuition for the class is free, you will not be paid for attending the class+ If you successfully complete the course, you will be a New York state certified Home Health AideAttendance on each day of the training class is required. Those who complete the class with a passing grade, meet all health requirements, and successfully complete the hiring process will receive an offer for employment. We do not provide free training for the general public, if you take this class you are signifying that you intend to work for us if we offer you employment. If you are hired, you will need to provide the follow information – the faster you provide this information, the faster we can get you to work:+ Proof of immunizations required+ Recent/current physical required+ Minimum of 2 references requiredEOE/AA Disability/Veteran
HOME HEALTH AIDE JOB DUTIES
Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule.
