Respite Care Provider Tax Boost, LLC Monticello, NY 12701 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals with varying needs, including those with disabilities. As a Care Provider, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our client by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being in a home care setting. Duties Trained in dealing with autism spectrum disorders. Willing to work with a team to support adult individual in developing independent living skills. Goal of assisting adult individual with transitions in order for client to eventually volunteer within the community. Ideal candidate will have education and/or behavioral health experience in order to assist in developing program based on client level of interest and comprehension. Training will be provided, experience working with the autistic population is required. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility support. Knowledgeable in managing behaviors, including aggressive tendencies. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Uphold resident rights by respecting their privacy and dignity at all times. Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive atmosphere. Document vital signs and other relevant health information accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that meet individual needs. Qualifications Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred but not required. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and resident rights is essential. Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities and varying levels of care needs. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization within the client’s living space.
