As a Home Health Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, empathy, and the ability to work independently. Duties Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing. Help clients with mobility and physical exercises as directed by healthcare professionals. Monitor and document client health status, including vital signs and any changes in condition. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure compliance with medication schedules. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with household tasks such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry. Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs. Experience Ideal candidates will have experience or knowledge in the following areas: Previous work in nursing homes or home health settings. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices. CPR certification is preferred. Experience in long-term care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
