Personal Care Assistant Freedom Home Care Agency Allegheny, PA 15212

In Home Caregiver Duties:

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their homes
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs as directed by medical professionals
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
• Assist with mobility and transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks

Skills:

• Experience in hospice care or assisted living is preferred
• Knowledge of medical records management and documentation
• Familiarity with catheter care procedures
• Proficient in meal preparation and dietary restrictions
• Understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals
• Ability to take accurate vital signs measurements
• Experience in medication administration, including proper dosage and timing
• Strong caregiving skills, including empathy, patience, and attentiveness to client needs
