Home Health Aide 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Brookhaven, PA 19015 Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. This role is vital in delivering high-quality care and enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This site requires a Male aide only Day, Evening, and night shifts open. Weekend shifts open as well Duties Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting when necessary. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor client health status. Document medical information accurately and maintain up-to-date records. Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences. Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment. Assist with hospice care as needed, ensuring dignity and comfort for end-of-life patients. Support clients with long-term care needs in assisted living settings. Provide catheter care and other specialized services as required. Perform CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring client safety at all times. #INDNUR Qualifications Previous experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred. Knowledge of medical documentation practices is essential. Ability to lift clients safely and effectively, adhering to safety protocols. Familiarity with hospice care principles is a plus. Proficient in medication administration techniques. Cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for clients. Experience in long-term care or assisted living environments is beneficial. Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications in caregiving are advantageous. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential for success in this role.
