VARIOUS SHIFTS WORKING 1-1 WITH CLIENTS IN THE COMMUNITY

POSITIONS
Work 1-1 or with a small group in the individual’s home or in the community. Schedules may vary. The employee uses their own vehicle to transport individuals. Mileage reimbursement, $0.65/mile.

(DSP): $.50 PER
HOUR INCREASE AFTER 6 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT ALL POSITIONS ELIGIBLE FOR MATCHING 401K 30 HPW OR GREATER POSITIONS OFFERED VISON NO COST, MEDICAL

REQUIREMENTS
Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license. Be 18 years of age or older. Obtain all clearances as required to meet regulatory compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CAREGIVER, DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS
Ability to perform client care services requiring manual, observational, and judgmental skills. Implements individual client programs by following written objectives and plans. Records observations and completes daily notes summarizing activities during the program using electronic mediums required. Provides input and assists in planning and guiding clients in social, recreational, work, and other activities. Assist with individual needs such as, but not limited to personal care, shopping, cooking, social, and daily living skills. Personal care may include assisting with toileting, feeding, and bathing. Transports the individual in the employee’s personal vehicle or agency vehicle when required per the individual’s needs. Helps and supports the clients in coping with day-to-day challenges and reports observations on the individual’s behavior.
DSP DOES NOT HAVE SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES.
