Direct Support Professional Job Summary:

Join our team as a Direct Support Professional and play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their well-being in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in activities of daily living (ADLs) 2. Assist with finding volunteer opportunities in the community. 3. Provide transportation to access community resources and appointments as needed. 4. Assist with medication administration and adherence to prescribed treatment plans. 5. Support individuals in social activities, community outings, and integration into the community. 6. Maintain a clean and safe living environment for individuals under your care. 7. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, social workers, and families to ensure holistic care for individuals.

Requirements :

1. Experience in working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required. 2. Proficiency in medication administration and adherence to healthcare protocols preferred but not required. 3. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs. 4. Understanding of working with people with developmental disabilities and promoting independence. Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time Pay:

$18.00 – $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 – 40 per week
